Traditional wines
Traditional wines are those that are indisputably associated with a particular area because they have a long, ancient history of local production. As far as the Oltrepò Pavese is concerned, Bonarda (made from Croatina) is the most representative wine of local food-and-wine traditions.
Cru wines
This term, taken from the French, denotes fine wines made from grapes grown in a single vineyard or plot with unique soil and macroclimate characteristics that create the best conditions for wines of fine quality and with great character. Cru wines are the epitome of wine as a fruit of the land and of people's work.
